Ardudwy Way Walk

This impressive walking trail commenced in 2010 in Gwynedd, North Wales. It stretches from Barmouth in the South to Llandecwyn in the North.  Approx. 31 miles long and if need be can easily walked in three sections the South, Central and the North.

The main path will take you through many different eras from an Old Coaching Road to ancient Burial Sites to 19th century Mining operations.

Most of the walk you will have spectacular views of the sea to one side and the Mountains to the other.  You are never too far away from local villages where you can gain access to shops and any other facilities that you may need.

There are rail and bus links within minutes from the walking trail

THE SOUTHERN SECTION is from Barmouth to Talybont covering a distance of 7.5 miles and is of moderate grading.  You will need to allow anything from 4 to 6 hours.   The terrain covers lanes, mountain paths, tracks and some stiles.

THE CENTRAL SECTION is from Talybont to Harlech which is 13.5 miles, the terrain and grading is as the southern section and you will need to allow yourself 5 to 7 hours

THE NORTHERN SECTION is from Harlech to Llandecwyn and is 10 miles long.   Allow 4 to 6 hours for this section.  Grading and terrain is as the Southern Section.
